Firstly - The most frequently asked question about us - "Why are you called Freequizzes when you are actually selling quiz questions?"

We first set up a website in 1998 under our original quizmaster name of BFB Entertainment. The site was where we posted quiz results of quizzes and quiz leagues we ran and also published the quiz questions we had used previously. This evolved to us asking other quizmasters to send in 100 questions per week and we would publish them - all quizmasters working together sending in old questions would mean none of us having to set a quiz again....

The site grew huge and we bought our own server and a domain at www.freequizzes.co.uk

Using our network of quizmasters, we were able to fulfill a number of quiz contracts for companies requiring multiple choice quiz questions. Not wishing to evade our taxation duties, we formed a company deciding to name it after our website - it made sense at the time - so we became Freequizzes Ltd. and then became VAT registered.

In 1999 we split the site between our pub quiz question sales side and a password protected webmaster side but as the business grew, we were stuck with Freequizzes. After a time other quiz swapping websites appeared and we felt that they did the swapping thing better - also we bought in a lot of quizzes from other writers and did not want to be accused of 'stealing' the work of others. So we closed the Free quiz sections.

And there you have it....

We're stuck with Freequizzes - we sell over 300,000 quiz questions each year and to change the name destroys the brand we've built up over the past few years. We wish we had a better name with a jazzy logo but c'est la vie.

On each of our sites, you will find free samples - hopefully these will tempt you into buying more quiz questions from us...if you were looking for something for nothing - hard luck if these aren't enough - You have to pay for quality!
